The award is the most prestigious and highest honour awarded to NRIs. Dr Parambath, who hails from Kerala, has been running his business in the Middle East for the last six years. He has also been earlier awarded for his contribution and commitment to health care sector and humanitarian aid activities in the Middle East region.
The Pravasi Bhartiya Samman is the latest in his collection of many other awards for his contribution to the humanitarian cause. Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) is celebrated on January 9 every year to mark the contribution of overseas Indian community in the development of India. During the event, individuals of exceptional merit or individuals who have worked in the enhancement of India's prestige are honoured with the estimable Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award to appreciate their role in India's growth. Dr Parambath was born in Kerala and completed his MBBS and MD from Mangalore and Chennai respectively.
In a short span of seven years he has embarked upon the new heights of glory and success and has established a truly integrated, end to end, healthcare organisation, delivering quality healthcare that caters to the needs of the community in the Middle East region.
